From the true feast of Passah: Are you a Jewess, a Jew?

A story, how it could have really happened, a story written to comfort all those having lost a parent by death or parental divorce. May you know that there is someone who cares and will never forsake you like human fathers or mothers are sometimes forced to do. By Eric Martienssen.

Shabbat Reading and Commentary for week 14, 2008, Shabbat Tazria (she gives birth):

Leviticus 12:1–13,59; 2 Kings 4:42 – 5:18; Ezekiel 45:16-46:18
by Michael Schneider, israel today, Jerusalem

Commentary:

Also, in this reading we are shown that purity standards were given and at a time when the children of Israel were in the desert. Included in this passage, were also the differences in giving birth to a boy and a girl. read more…
