»Divesting himself of any personal interests, Pinchas stands up, enters the fray and stops the plague devastating his brothers. He has literally outdone himself and achieves a new reality. So too, the daughters of Tzelaphchad petition Moshe and G-d Himself, out of selfless love for the land.
