Declaration to David’s Comment: Israel, the Church & the World - Don’t Surrender (22.02.2007) from Rolf Piller
With regard to reproaches, with a.m. article we would have instigated hatred against Islam, it seemed important to us to put this right. For the reconciliation of God‘s in principle as blessing thought self understanding for each person - especially before the background of this weeks Parasha (weekly portion of the Torah) [Exodus 30:11- 34,35] – are we well advised, to call „a child by name“. This German proverb, that we need to look at this point deeper, should help us to see matters in the right light, so to say from God‘s point of view.
Let us look at three examples. According to the Bible this land has been given to Israel, therefore one can call anyone who tries to change this, a thief. read more…

Please note down: Networkday on the 9th of June at Bonn, register with Marita S. Meyer
Already the Israel-Day in Bremen, on the 17th of February became, under the leadership of Marita Sara Meyer, a real Network blessing! Not only through the Shabbat - the link between Jews and Christians - but especially through the pronounced significance of the city partnership with Haifa. Such a one is also maintained with Duesseldorf, see Invitation-PDF, where the NRW Prayer for Israel on the 18th of February after a beneficial short presentation by Ebenezer-Volunteer Rolf Piller, as well as a exceptionally gifted preach with deep blessings by David Silver. The meeting with more than 200 participants was closed with flying flags and banners and singing “Baruch Habah beschem Adonaj” - yes. HE comes, Maranatha!

Family & Ministry Newsletter October 2006
Shalom from a once again peaceful Mt. Carmel. We trust that you are all well and enjoying the blessings. We have just experienced something we thought was still a long way off in the future. We have just lived through five weeks of war in Southern Lebanon and northern Israel. For 5 weeks Hizb’Allah rockets rained down death and destruction all over the north of Israel. Many of the 4000 rockets landed here in Haifa, killing at least 10 people and destroying a number of apartments and causing other damage. Most of you received our daily updates in which we shared the events of the day, and Stefan’s situation. For Josie and at home, with both sons in the army, I it was an experience unlike any thing we had gone through in our lives. read more…
A Personal Note From Josie
Shabbat Shalom everyone. I felt to express my personal version of what it is like for me here in this time of war. The sirens, the thuds of rockets landing close by, the constant thuds and impact (which makes the doors in our apartment rattle) of rockets landing in the very northern tip of Israel and in southern Lebanon is taxing and scary.
However, I can handle that - what is most consuming for me is being a mother of a son who is literally in the heart of the battle up there at Avavim on the Lebanse border. I have not had to endure or experience anything like this, or walk this path before, so it is a new level of trust in the Lord that I have ever been thrust into. It is an hour by hour walk for me. Each time we hear from Stefan, ( praise the Lord for cell phones ) it brings me tremendous relief to know that he is still alive. Each time I hear that a soldier has been wounded or killed, I weep like it is my own son. I have lost my appetite.
Last night I did not sleep, I was up until the very early hours of the morning. At one stage I lay prostrate on the floor of our office for a long time weeping and praying. As I lay there, I became aware of my cat beside me, he began sniffing my arms, hair and face… so gently, feeling his gentle breath on my bare skin, and purring and crying at the same time - he sat beside me like a faithful little puppy - it really comforted me. I believe the Lord allowed that, and as I looked back in reflection this morning, I sensed the Holy Spirit saying “that is how close I am to you”.
Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement, love, comfort, little devotions, songs etc etc you have sent - it has meant measures to me, and thank you for continuing to “walk this path” with us until we see it come to an end…………..Shabbat Shalom in the name of Yeshua our Messiah, David & Josie
