Curriculum Vitae Eric C. Martienssen

Eric C. Martienssen

Already as a three year old boy believed the son of a factory director, born on June 3rd 1959 in Neuwied near Bonn, (grandson of a piano professor, whose method belongs till today to the fundamental works of a “unteachable” theory of piano playing) in looking from his room across the Rhine: “Over there, there is the greeeaat, wiiide world”.

Accordingly this vision gave him wings that at the age of 25, he accepted the invitation to become Vice President of an advertising agency in New York. With 30 he became Advertising Manager Overseas Operations (principal market Middle East) of a worldwide leading branded goods manufacturer, before he was called back to the Rhineland as a member of the executive board of a shareholding company.

As he came to realize in the aforementioned function, that this company was in the process, behind his back, to betray hundreds of shareholders for the holdings, he reported his own supervisory board, received several death threads through its already worldwide interwoven syndicate, made in return – than still an atheist – his first personal experience with Elohim (Hebrew [אלהים] i.e. for G’d the Almighty, Aramaic “Elah”): HE was striving, testing, but just and – above all – reliable!

Completely contrary to the Christian churches, that took him, soon after his conversion, his three children per expertise as soon as they became aware of his nonconformist faith. In order to understand the “why” he came back into the church, but it lasted twelve years in partly exposed protestant honorary posts and posts with pretending to be Israel friendly organizations to find out their devastating problem. The fundamental problem of the church was their themselves issued right “to rebuttal by non-knowledge”. Because “denial” could be if you did not know a fact of a case. But to “rebut” a fact by willful ignorance, however, was the most blasphemical form of escapism – “The Protestant flight from the historical Jesu “, as the rabbi Abraham Geiger put it already 150 years ago.

Martienssen escaped from the church, turned to the liberal then, decidedly, to Orthodox Judaism and believes that the number of Christians will increase, who (even without having suffered persecution by church or brethren) are called from the Almighty to join themselves unto them (Est 9:27), those who they once pursued, to repent and receive insight G’d: (extract from Isaiah 25 and 56) „And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.“ and to „Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD,… every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it,…The Lord G’D which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
